Performance
The 2025 Chevy Tahoe and the 2025 Chevy Suburban have the same diesel engine and two gas engines. The diesel engine is a 3.0-liter, inline-six system that produces 305 horsepower. This is an increase over the 2024 model years. In addition, both models offer a 355-horsepower, 5.3-liter, V8 engine or a 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter, V8 system. All three powertrains are available with a 10-speed automatic transmission for both vehicles.
Appearance
The 2025 Suburban and the 2025 Tahoe display the lovely results of exterior style updates. The Tahoe has a commanding presence with a tall roof and a square nose. A new mesh pattern covers the rectangular grille, and the lower fascia has a metallic outline. In addition, the S-shaped LED ribbon on the headlights adds a fresh, modern touch. The 2025 Suburban has a comparable shape, but it is a larger vehicle with a stronger linear definition running over the sides. The grille and LED headlights are similar to the Tahoe’s features. On the Suburban’s bumper, a metallic pinstripe runs horizontally.
