While the gas engines in the 2025 Chevy Tahoe remain the same as those offered in 2024, the inline-six diesel engine receives a boost of 38 horsepower, now reaching 305 horsepower. The gas engines from 2023 continue into the 2024 model year without changes—a 355-horsepower V8 5.3-liter engine and a 420-horsepower V8 6.2-liter engine. Suspension tuning has been revised for all trim levels, with the 2025 Tahoe Z71 and High Country trims adding air springs.
Appearance
The 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe introduces several new wheel designs, including 24-inch wheels. The front end features a new grille design with a linear mesh pattern and a sleek bumper. Tall LED headlights illuminate the way, while distinct upper and lower lines run from front to rear. The 2025 Tahoe boasts additional exterior features such as a panoramic sunroof, power-retractable side steps, a trailer hitch camera, auto-dimming and heated side mirrors, and a hands-free liftgate.
